We have started the clothes drive for Debra Corn Foster Care. We plan to have the drive to go from Sept. 21st to Oct. 5th. We hung flyer up the week before to get the word out. We put the box in the Jr. High because someone was already doing something with the high school. We hope the clothes drive us successful.

We started our clothes drive officially for Debra Corn foster care. our drive started Sept. 21 and its gonna end on Oct. 5th. We went back through and fixed all of our flyers and hung them back up and got a box in the junior high. We plan on putting a box on the high school side we just don't know with someone else having a donation box down there. We got one donation so far, and I hope that we do good on these clothes drive and come out with good results.

The clothes drive is coming to an end now with the month nearing to an end, and I just need to transport all the clothes to the Grant County Rescue Mission. I got a decent amount of clothes for doing my first clothes drive in my entire life. I just need to think of an alternate project that I can start another one.

I passed out my first class of goody bags for Mrs. Maynus class. She texted me and sent me pictures of their bags. They loved them and they were excited! Now I am planning to do my second class.

I went to the department on Friday and Natasha had court so I went into the office were the ladies work. I won't go there every Friday I will go into the D-Home with Natasha but she was in court so it was a one time thing. I got approval from Mr. Durkes and Mrs. Turanchick to help her with her 1st graders. I had a meeting with her to get a better idea of what I will be doing. I will be making flashcards, and books and maybe some games for her student's reading literacy.

This week we got a lot of boxes filled with magazines donated. We have been getting more donations lately and multiple people have written letters already. We now only have 2 weeks left of our project. We plan on continuing to get donations from businesses. We think that we will hit our goal for the project by the end date.

As if right now I have don't have much to write. I am still helping in Mrs. Garverick's room and still getting cans ready for the unified sports fundraiser.

On Friday, I went to the humane society and took pictures of the animals there for our project and was able to speak with the people at the Humane Society for a little while too. My two partners attempted to post posters but were not able to while I was out.

This week was overall productive. I began the week emailing with a company who made a direct donation to the VA. We then later talk to a person who had many boxes of magazines and a couple puzzle books to donate, and picked them up a couple days later. While we were out we put out a few flyers. We will continue to try and collect more donations.
