I have got a lot of progress done with the random acts of kindness project. I have handed out Kindergarten, and First grade already! It was a big hit with both of those classes they loved their treats and it was fun seeing the videos and pictures of all the kids. Today I am handing out my 3rd set of goody bags which is the 2nd grade class and then I will be done with this projects

This week we weren't able to do much. Our classroom was used for testing. We plan on getting the cans in the classrooms when we come back from Fall Break to start collecting the money. We will advertise it so that a lot of people know about it. The biggest thing we had a hard time with was time. We didn't use our time and planning to our best ability and we could've done better planning for our project. It just was kind of slow. We plan on putting the cans out when we get back to school and wait a little for money to start being donated. Then we will collect the money and bring it to the Humane Society.

During this project, there has been quite of a few challenges. This biggest one was/is trying to get other dentist involved and wanting to help. I contacted around 9 dentists and sadly only three got back with me. Another challenge was getting this organized to where I had enough patients willing to come. With that being said, however, I might have to cut back the amount of patients I wanted to come because I only have 2 dentists volunteering. This project has pushed me out of my comfort zone many times. I have had to go into meetings and talk to complete strangers. Even though this project didn't turn out exactly like I was hoping for, I am still glad that I will be able to help a few patients.

I finished my first project a couple of weeks ago. I think it started off slow which was one of the challenges I faced. But near the end it ended up doing really good. I was very suprised with how it came out because I thought a lot of kids wouldn't donate, but they did. I am very grateful for the outcome. But I have high hopes for the scond since it is more of making thigns for little kiddies.

This week I finished the forms for the corn hole boards and I'm ready to make the actual boards. I met with the person in charge of parks on the town council and we chose the spot for the boards.

We completed our project on October 15. We picked up all of the boxes we had out, and sorted through them, counting all of the items we had. We received blankets, book, food, utensils, some hygiene products, and two cash donations. We are very pleased with how our project ended, though I feel like we could have gotten more donations if we posted about it more online. At first we felt like we wouldn't get any donations, but within the last two weeks of the project, we were receiving many.

Friday I went to the department and finished putting the care packages together. Natasha wasn't there so she dropped it off in the jail so I could work on them there. I put shampoo, conditioner, 2 lotions, bar of soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, comb, shaving cream, and a razor. I also had socks, business cards, motivational cards. I put everything together and left them there for Natasha to pick them up.

This was the last week of our project. We picked up the donations which we received all by October 15th. We sorted through and organized the boxes. We got 5 boxes containing non-perishable food items, utensils, blankets, hygiene products, and coloring books. With it we also put the monetary donations, and the letters the Junior High class wrote to the VA's veterans. We planned to drop it off on the 16th, but it didn't go as planned so we went back a few days latter and dropped it off to the Voluntary Services building of the VA. We had challenges with getting people to donate, but in the end, with some reaching out, we ended up with a good amount plus the magazines we donated earlier on during this project. I am grateful for the outcome.

This week ive completed my project and got everything finished and completed. Now I need to make a presentation on my progress. And find more pictures and information. My project didn't really go as planned, it wasn't very successful but my next project will be.

This week we didn't really do anything. We were planning on putting the cans in classrooms, but we ended up getting even more behind with decorating them and having to wait for them to dry.
